A sobering news article I read the other day helped me come to a realisation…
I've been lying to myself...
For almost all of my life in one capacity or another...
And I've seen the same behaviour in people looking to start their own home-based business…
And if you're willing to be honest
with yourself, I'm sure I could highlight the same behaviours in you too...
What I've noticed is, most people lie about what they're really committed to...
We say we're committed to being healthier but then continue eat unhealthy food or get that cheeky takeaway when we know there's healthy options...
We say we're committed to our family, kids or other relationships but then constantly take them for
granted and put things before them...
We say we're committed to having a business that creates freedom but instead we allow our existing job to trap us...
We say we're committed to growth but constantly prioritise comfort even though we know stepping outside of the comfort zone is where growth happens...
We say we want a business that allows you to be, do and have the finer things in life, but then balk
at the idea of making an investment…
We say we want results in our life but then delay taking action on the things that will get us there....
We're all big, hairy walking, talking contradictions...
I'm hoping this message has the same impact on you that it did on me...
BUT it also stirred something in me that has caused me to step up and decide what I'm REALLY committed to
and stop lying to myself...
Success is simple...
Decide what you're committed to, what's really a priority for you and act accordingly...
And that applies to your dream of starting a home-based business, health, relationships and everything in between...
