Have you ever experienced “Atychiphobia”? I was unfamiliar with this term myself until recently, but here’s a definition straight
from Google: "Atychiphobia is an intense fear of failure. It may cause you to put off or avoid any activity or scenario that has the potential for an unsuccessful outcome. Someone with this condition may be scared to try new things, take risks, or embrace growth for fear of failure." This fear of failure is something I often see holding people back from starting their own home-based recruitment agency. Sometimes it’s more subtle, but I encounter it frequently when people attend my free recruitment startup workshop. Many know the steps they need to
take, yet hesitate to follow through—Atychiphobia seems to be at the root of it. Last week, I spoke with someone who was ready to launch her agency but was unable to access her savings. She’d trusted a friend of a friend to invest her life savings in a cryptocurrency program, only to find out she
wouldn’t have access to the funds for several months… …and that her return on investment would likely be less than her initial amount. Ouch! In cases like this, a little fear and caution isn’t
unwarranted. But that same fear can hold one back in other areas, where the risk is manageable and the rewards could be substantial. This is exactly why I run a free workshop event—to show not just the "wow", but the precise steps you can take to build a six-figure income from your own recruitment
agency, right from the comfort of your home. The truth is, nearly every client of mine who’s successfully launched their own recruitment agency had the same fears. Fear is a normal part of growth. But getting what you want out of life often requires acting despite that fear. So, take a moment to reflect—could the reason you’re holding back be fear of what might not go as planned? As the saying goes, FEAR has two meanings: Forget Everything And Run… or Face Everything And Rise. The choice is yours. |
