I recently finished reading Russell Brunson's DotCom secret
book.
In the book, he uses the phrase "Ready, Fire, Aim," which describes a strategy of taking action before considering all the angles, as to whether a new business idea will succeed.
In a similar vein, we have the expression, "Perfect is the enemy of good."
This phrase often describes how people can get caught up in trying to make things perfect and, as a result, never get anything done!
We can all be perfectionists at times. And often use 'high standards' as the reason...
But almost
without exception, perfection slows down progress...
We use "perfection" as an excuse for delaying "execution"...
Waiting for the perfect time for the economy to improve…
Waiting for the perfect time to
tell your partner of your intentions to start a business…
Waiting for the perfect time to attend one of our free workshop events…
Waiting for the perfect time to start a home-based business…
Waiting for the
perfect moment to commit to investing...
Waiting for the perfect time for all the planets to align...
Okay, scrap the last one!
Coming back to the point, and that is, perfection delays
progress!
This is always important to remember, but never more so than now when your current employment is more likely than not to be less secure than it ever was…
You would be right to think that it's probably not the perfect environment for executing the things you know need to be done.
But don't let that stop you!
Execution beats perfection every single time...
Now's the time to Ready, Fire and Aim at being your own boss.
And, here's how I can help:
