As I am sure many are aware, I run free workshop presentations from my head office in Croydon.
These workshops give a very comprehensive overview of how a person can make a considerable income running their own
home based recruitment agency.
In addition to the training, I present testimonials from dozens of our successful clients highlighting how they are making tens of thousands of pounds per month with their home-based recruitment agency.

In addition to the free training, we provide free lunch and light refreshments during the workshop.
At the end of the session, attendees receive free bookkeeping

Then for anyone interested in starting their agency I have a 10-to-15-minute chat with them to answer any questions they may have.
I am sure you will agree in this day and age this is quite generous to provide so much completely free of charge.
Incredibly, I would say 1 in a 100 ever say thank you.
I’ll repeat that 1 in 100 ever say thank you, not even thank you for the free lunch!
Sigh…
Sadly, we live in a society where people just expect
things for free…
More often than not, when I meet with someone at the end of the workshop for the one-to-one, they say to me, “Joe, this is just what I have been looking for, it’s perfect.”
Then they add, “The only thing
is I’ve got no money. Is there any way I can start for free and then pay you as and when I make money?”
One chap recently blurted out half way through my presentation “Why don’t you just give it to me for free!”
Some people just have this sense of entitlement.
There is a simple truth that escapes most people’s notice and that is you cannot start or run a business for free.
Starting and running a recruitment agency is a business not a non-profit charity.
No one who starts a new business can expect to get their suppliers to provide all their stock for free and as and when they sell the products and starts making money pay them back at a
later date.
That is not the real world!
The truth of the matter is people don’t value what you provide for free, this is brought home to me every time I do my workshops.
After five hours of solid information — content you won’t find in any books, online, or from other recruitment companies — my training covers insights that are truly unique.
Yet, despite all this, people often just take the free business plan, bookkeeping software, and
marketing tips and head for the door.
Today, people just expect things for free, but there’s the rub, people don’t value what they get for free.
They value what they invest in and that is the fee we charge for
setting up their recruitment agency.
